the cases usually end in same way (with some variations-they give illusion of major choices though, so you feel and wonder about "what if I did that first" and so on).Īnother thing I should mention is "the faces", when the game came out the facial expressions were "revolutionary" but nowadays they are pretty average and can actually be "funny" or "weird" at times but that's not the fault of the game, the engine at the release time was actually the best one avalible for this as it was original and custom made (to a point where they made extensive documentary about it, you can find it on yt if you want to know more). Although there are always several ways to solve the cases which deppend on how well you do in questioning, location selection, searches etc. It can be good at times but pretty dull at others, although the cases are pretty fun they are again, linear a lot by which I mean that the outcome doesn't change much no matter how well you do (unless you fail horribly in which case you are told to fk off or straight up forced to repeat the case, which usually isn't the case as you are the post war cop, so what you say is justice and you always have someone to blame be it innocent person or not (this part of the game btw is nice and authentic as that's how it worked back then) ) and they all point towards the major parts of the game. The action parts of the game are not bad but not good either = they are pretty "average" so don't expect amazing shooting experience, what the game excels at is the adventure part of the game where you play cop (detective) which, believe it or not is the main subject of the game. However there is "fast travel" system where your partner drives between locations which I do not suggest at all, the city is well done so it's enjoyable to drive around yourself for a while but the important thing is that the two of you chat/discuss things in the car when you drive (chat about cases, life, past, jokes, war etc.) and the fast travel skips these things) as the other two mentioned series and that's actually where the "comparison" ends as it's the only similiarity. It was compared to SR/GTA below but that comparison is shit(although I understnad why someone would try to compare these series), although the game has free-roam it's not as "fun" (not much to do and most of the things are "serious" (duh, the whole game is "serious"), the activities become quite repetetive if you do a lot of them at once-(they contain roberies, thievery, some gang stuff, psychopaths and are "call outs" by dispechers) they feel nice for first few times but can become annoying later on as there are hundreds of them and are "random" (you can be called to random crime on the other side of the city, on the other side despite most of them falling into one of the mentioned categories, they are hand placed as far as I remember), except these there are location photos to collect and that's pretty much all, the free roaming isn't really enjoyable on it's own. Proper language and game options changing via game launcherĭOWNLOAD (not a direct link, ofc) !Įnjoyable experience but pretty linear despite the fact that it doesn't look like it.No need for Rockstar Games Social Club to be installed. Almost non-existant HDD load during installation.Less space required for installation (just the game size).Running the launcher itself may lead to game auto-update and the crack won't work Run the game ONLY via desktop icon, created by the installer - that way you can change game options and language.Repack uses pZlib library by Razor12911.
